Todd Rutherford said that now he finds it impossible to believe a positive review, if that attitude were to become widespread it could cripple indie sales since I think readers do currently make purchasing decisions on the basis of good reviews. Most importantly it's a slap in the face to readers who count on the integrity (or what remains of it) of the review system to make product-purchasing decisions.
