For instance, some authors like the anonymity that a pen name gives, the ability to try new things and, perhaps, fail spectacularly without tarnishing their reputation. In that case, they would probably stay in-character.
<br /Karen Woodwardhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/05497346859460691324noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1939271308870333669.post-21991973563269033722013-09-03T05:59:39.091-07:002013-09-03T05:59:39.091-07:00Hi Karen,

Then on my book I just copyright it under my real name.

I called the copyright office and they said to do it that way, so that's what I do!

About Karen Woodwardhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/05497346859460691324noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1939271308870333669.post-67602244017588365982012-12-28T09:08:47.434-08:002012-12-28T09:08:47.434-08:00Hi Karen

Do authors generally use their pen-name or their real name?

I have set up a publishing company - could I use that as the copyright owner on the copyright statement? I know that lulu.com allows authors to upload ebooks under Anonymousnoreply@blogger.com
